Core Beliefs of GSGF Ministry

Good Soil Good Fruit Ministry (GSGF) was founded by Edward Rose to encourage growth in Christlikeness in every Christ-follower to bear good fruit which glorifies God. In addition to this website, the ministry has just published Unrelenting Pursuit through Carpenter’s Son Publishing to outline this in greater detail.

  • Inspiration, inerrancy, and final authority of Scripture (1 Thess. 2:13, 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
  • The virgin birth (Luke 1:34-35)
  • The literal incarnation and absolute humanity and deity of Christ Jesus (Heb. 1:2-14, 1 John 4:2)
  • Resurrection of Jesus from the dead (Acts 26:22-23, Rom. 8:11)
  • Jesus is alive and seated at the right hand of God the Father and is our Great High Priest! (Heb. 4:14-15)
  • Substitutionary atonement for our sins by Jesus by his death on the cross (1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 2:2)
  • Salvation is by faith alone in Jesus alone (Eph. 2:8-9)
  • There is no other way for salvation except by Jesus (John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12)
  • Therefore, there is no other gospel (Gal. 1:6-9)
  • Once reconciled by faith in Jesus Christ, every Christ-follower is called to discipline themselves to overcome sin in their life and grow in maturity in order to bear fruit (Col. 3:8-10, 1 Tim. 4:7, 2 Tim. 2:19, 1 Peter 1:14-16,
    1 John 2:4-5)
