Core Beliefs:
It was apparent in the first-century church there was one Church of Jesus Christ that met in different cities. Hence the Bible describes the “church in Ephesus,” the “church in Smyrna,” the “church in Pergamum,” and so forth. Over 20 centuries since, an enormous number of divisions and splits have occurred over different doctrines and spiritual practices. Many of these continue to be part of the ecclesia which comprises the past and present church of Jesus Christ, the ecclesia. However, there are essential doctrinal issues that must be ascribed to.

• The literal incarnation and absolute humanity and deity of Christ Jesus (Hebrews 1:2-14, 1 John 4:2);
• Resurrection of Jesus from the dead (Acts 26:22-23, Romans 8:11);
• Jesus is alive and our Great High Priest! (Hebrews 4:14-15);
• Substitutionary atonement for our sins by Jesus by his death on the cross (1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 2:2);
